The importance of a good rest during pregnancy

Being with child is one of the biggest thrills being experienced by women, but sometimes it is difficult to fully enjoy this short period (they are only 9 months!).
During pregnancy, changes occur in the sleep cycle. The first months of pregnancy women in their sleep have shorter periods of deep sleep phase. During the months following the “moms” they begin to sleep less and have sleep disturbances several times during each night.
During pregnancy women experience many changes in all spectrums of life, and therefore the time to relax and sleep well is unchanged.
Hormonal changes are one of the factors that influence the sleep cycle.
Another factor influencing the sleep cycle, are the emotional or psychological kind. In this sense there are several elements that influence and we can enumerate the logical fears being experienced by all pregnant women, especially when the due date is approaching. (more…)
The sex by women during stages of pregnancy do not cause rupture of the membranes or preterm labor. The pregnant sex is not harmful to the baby because there is no better than the amniotic fluid damper.
